One of the most amazing things about San Diego is its proximity to so many different areas , i.e. the beach, the mountains, the desert, Mexico. This weekend, our community group rented a cabin at Big Bear for some snow time. Most of the group spent Saturday skiing or snowboarding on the slopes. Several of us spent the day hiking through the community during the day. I hope to go back and learn to snowboard next year. After the fast-paced trip to Tuscaloosa last weekend with crack of dawn flights and limited sleep, it was nice to have a laid back Saturday in the snow. It was a great time with some great friends!
