Reunions

This month, I've had a chance to visit with some good friends visiting San Diego. Cathy Newman came to town from Alabama, after a work-related trip to Northern California. Preeti Shah came down from Seattle to spend the weekend with us. We all became close after 4-5 mission trips to Mexico together. We spent lots of time touring the beaches, bowling with my friends here, visiting my church and community group, and Cathy and I went to the Wild Animal Park. So nice to share my new world with people I've known for a long time.



Another reunion -- Robin Matross Helm, Mark Chen, and I have not all been together since we were on the Toyota Youth Program EXPO 2005, escorting 36 students from around the country to the world's fair in Japan. That trip and my friendship with Mark helped lead me to his school where I work now. Robin was in town for vacation with her family, and it was great to catch up.
